I am running Fedora Core 2 with gnome. When I was working, I suddenly saw some error messages related to the "Gnome PANEL" which said something like
'An unexpected error occured with the XYZ applet. Do you want to reload it?' - with Yes/No options. I chose 'No'. Now, I am not seeing any of the open window list (which we use to select the any of the working windows) in the panel. I logged off, restarted X, rebooted, but still the same problem. Gnome experts on the group - any tips to correct this and get back to the old state?
