Sir,
I have installed Ubuntu in my computer (PII 300, 128, 20GB) with win
XP. I have the following problems:
1. How to play MP3 with Ubuntu rhythmbox or totem. Earlier I had
installed Red Hat 9 and xmms played MP3 wihtout any problem.
2. I have added entries to /etc/fstab about the windows partitions but
they are shown as locked and permission denied.
3. Whether rpm files (xmms for example) can be installed in Ubuntu? I
tried alien without success.
4. Whether the internal modem sm-56pci can be made to work with linux?
