Hi All! I made clone ofmy hd for my new PC usig Norton ghost in which I had WinXP and Ubuntu Hoary 5.4. After the completion of clonoing it asked for rebooting I removed the new hd and I attached to the new PC. When I switched on it didnt booted instead it gave continous beep sound and on the Monitor only GRUB was displaying.
My both new and old PC has got same configuration with same type and make of HD. What might be the problem with it? Does Norton Ghost suppoerts only win partitions or both? But after this I inserted Windows 98 Bootable CD fixed MBR with "fdisk/mbr" command. now winXP is working, what about the Ubuntu?
