My name is P.D. Vishal, 28 years of age from Mysore. I
was an Engineer (Management Trainee) at KIRLOSKAR TOYODA TEXTILE
MACHINERY LTD, Bangalore which is in collabration with Toyoda Automatic
Loom Works, Japan. I was hard working & sole provider for my family.
Father was an havaldaar in Police department (Karnataka State Reserve
Police, KSRP), mother housewife & younger brother just completed
Diploma in Tool and Die Making at GT & TC, Mysore & doing training at
the same institute. On 27th April 2001 I met with an road accident,
while I was travelling in a bus to the company collided with an
Electric pole and Bus shulter in that i was crushed between the two
seates, for that I had severe injuries to my abdomen & also broken my
Spinal Cord. Suddenly I was shifted to Deve Gowda Hospital ( DG
Hospital) Padmanaabanagar, Bangalore where doctors operated & removed
my punchered spleen & implanted steel plates to stabilise my spinal
cord (T11 & T12 disc compression). From that time whole my life
collapsed, I lost both Movement & Sensation (paralysis) of legs
without control over my bladder & bowel (PARAPLEGIA). I stayed for
three and half months in the hospital. Because of my poor financial
condition my company paid for my operations at DG Hospital. From past
4 years I am disable, bedridden and completely depended on my parents
for my daily activities. My family is suffering from heavy financial
problems & also borrowed loans from friends & relatives which as to be
returned, for my medicines and other problems mainly due to Bed sours &
Urinary track infections (using catheter to drain the urine).
I have to undergo an Nerve Regenarating Treatment
using Olfactory ensheating glial cells that is OEG Cells (these are the
