There was a professor at Kongu Engineering College, Erode, Tamil Nadu,
who helped his students a lot with FLOSS, and he got hired from
Google, Bangalore!

When professors themselves are able get good opportunities, there are
endless opportunities for students in the free/open source world!

One doesn't get lot of free time when working in the industry. Its
very important to make the best use of the school/college days and
learn as much as possible.
