Hey, but I don't really see Fedora/Red Hat adopting/adapting apt  for their
distros. Everytime, I need to setup PHP5/Apache2 based app on a RHEL, it's a
nightmare for me due to this reason.

Of course, Ubuntu has ensured that the Debian experience reaches the masses.
In spite of everything, I would love to see more innovation and  better and
stabler releases from non-deb distros.

I would also note that, the focus has shifted over the years from Distro
*tasting* to real work on whatever distro people are using. There's also a
relative tone down in the vitriolic MS/Linux turf wars.
