Follow-up Comment #3, bug #16273 (project mypaint):
It's clearly a MyPaint bug that we can get into a state where the brush
settings sliders show something different than what the brush actually does.
The device change itself feels ugly and unneccessary, but it's not really a
problem for someone who is creating new brushes.
