It's not that EasyStroke doesn't work with mypaint, it works fine, as long as
i DONT open it with a gesture.
When opened with a gesture it throws this error message, with any version of
mypaint.
and the what i mean by "brush-box" i meant "brush selection".
When mypaint is launched with a gesture the menu in brush selection is not
present. (ie: to switch between different brush sets: deevand, tanda,
experimental, etc)
my system is super stable, and i compile software all the time,
so i tend to think it's a bug, not an issue with my desktop.
(i too am using metacity / gnome)
...and am running Fedora 13 x86
