It only modifies the radius, not the erasing-ness.
I found a fix for this which involves adding 'eraser' to the 'basic' group on
line 87 of gui/brushsettingswindow.py. Until then, it wasn't in the GUI at
all.
For some reason, that causes the erase mode toggle to work correctly again.
