Follow-up Comment #9, bug #17991 (project mypaint): Sure, I understand they have no name technically. But Mypaint can 'auto-name' them like it does in the layer dialog now. I expect to have this name saved in the *.ora file or when opening in another software.
An artist with a workflow like this , ( with a big usage of layers ): http://theworldismytrashbin.tumblr.com/post/7232564628/to-give-you-guys-an-idea-on-how-i-did-that Would surely like to have the file save his Layer 3 between Layer 1 and 2 :) Btw, I like the simple autonaming 'Layer 1' 'Layer 2' etc... User know they can rename them, it's not necessary to use 'untitled' in the label, imo. Also , the character '#' don't mean 'number' in a lot of langages. In France it's a musical notation only , for exemple ; so this can be skipped also in my opinion. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://gna.org/bugs/?17991> _______________________________________________ Message posté via/par Gna! http://gna.org/ _______________________________________________ Mypaint-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/mypaint-bugs
