Follow-up Comment #1, bug #18421 (project mypaint):
We certainly don't want the autosave as in "automatically do a normal save
operation every 5 minutes". This was was implemented in the iportnov branch
(http://wiki.mypaint.info/Iportnovs_en) and IIRC most users who actually
worked with this branch found it very irritating.
