Details:
The toolbar brush indicator does not reveal whether eraser mode or lock alpha
brush modifications are in place. It also doesn't show whether the current
brush has been modified in some other way.
This could possibly be fixed in a more general way by overlaying icons with
small indicator icons denoting a change to their state from the default, or
any modifier modes that are overlaid on top of the actual brush settings.
Perhaps we should be asking the brushmanager to composite the icon pixmap each
time for dynamic widgets like those in the menus: asking it to produce a brush
icon suitable for a for a given size would be best; that way the overlay will
be right for the requested size.
Might be able to do something with a custom gtk.IconFactory that knows about
brushes, but maybe that's overkill.
