Follow-up Comment #1, bug #19181 (project mypaint):
The file generate.py is only used for compiling MyPaint. You can remove it if
you want. It is installed because we simply install all .py files, so we don't
have to maintain a list of installed files. I have removed the executable flag
and the shebang now (to hide them from your tools, buahaha ;-), since we don't
actually need them.
About label-brush-mypaint.sh, I don't know. It's questionable to install it,
but the same goes for prev-template.xcf.gz. I doubt any user will ever
discover any of those little helpers from an installation, without being
pointed to. Since you probably should read the script before running it, I
think it's not so bad to have it non-executable. If you are still in doubt,
just remove the file.
