Follow-up Comment #4:
The symmetry centre can now be set by toggling it off, then toggling it on
again in the current git master. When you turn it on, a new axis of symmetry
is established passing through the middle of the display. Can you give it a
try and let me know whether the notion "feels right"?
There's no overlay for it yet, but I'd like to add one - it may aid usability.
Goal is to not have to split splitting axis toggling and axis centre-setting,
if we can. If a new axis must be aligned with something on the drawing after a
period of non-symmetry, making it visible would help!
The line of symmetry can only be a vertical line on the working document
itself, but I'm not sure that's worth trying to fix right now.
