Follow-up Comment #2, bug #19777 (project mypaint):
Confirming that I had a similar problem with my old git copy recently. The
traceback was almost identical, in fact, except that the AttributeError I got
was "'module' object has no attribute 'log_lcms2_error'"
My git-fu is weak, and I wasn't able to find what files or leftover bits were
causing the problem, so I just started over with a new git clone in a fresh
directory. I didn't bother reporting it because I assumed it was caused by a
test patch I'd applied before or something.
That fixed it for me, and it's been updating and running fine since.
