Follow-up Comment #3, bug #20100 (project mypaint):
Thanks, good to know it was not real data loss.
The brush format has changed to something more standard and easier to parse
(json) in git. The information has not changed, just the format.
Newer MyPaint versions can convert from the old format, and will save in the
new one, but it doesn't go the other way around.
