Confirmed in Debian wheezy/Testing with git master as of db248de, and for the
stable 1.1 release :(
I guess the thumbnails look nice in MyPaint's own save/load dialog, but that's
about the only good reason for saving them to the fd.o cache. On most systems,
the Freedesktop cache will be used by our GTK save dialogs.
