Follow-up Comment #1:

Bumping down to minor. Can you be a bit more specific about the sequence of
operations you took to uncover this one slowdown?

Note that pressing and holding "R" does not reveal the picker overlay
immediately - the pointer must be moved first.

For me, picking can be immediate, as is apparent in the colour wheel dockable.
Pressing then releasing "R" picks immediately on my system, flashes the
pipette cursor very briefly, and updates all attached colour adjusters
immediately.

I do however get something akin to the behaviour you describe when I

1. Press and hold "R" on the canvas
2. Move around.
3. Release "R".
* Expected: immediate picking while a) "R", is held down, and b) after it is
released
* Observed: slow picking, taking a second or two for both cases, a. and b.
* Observed: this does not happen when pressing and then immediately releasing
"R"; only when motion is involved.

Is that what you're seeing? Note that for me the cursor changes back
immediately.

Please can you fill in the _Release:_ field on the Gna! page with the "git"
revision you're using? Thanks.

(While you're at it, please can you fill in the Operating System: field too?
Thanks - these little details really do help.)

Please let me know what window manager and desktop environment you are
running, if appropriate.

One further question: is this bug limited to the "R" colour picker being slow
and unresponsive? Right now, it's really vague-sounding, and you haven't
followed up with any further instances since the 5th.
