Follow-up Comment #5, bug #20822 (project mypaint):
Yeah, test input devices -dialog reports more like 35ms spacing for events.
Attached the screenshot, the text log was pretty impossible to grep, thus I
took a screenshot of the debug dialog. Sorry about that :P
