Follow-up Comment #5, bug #21482 (project mypaint):
Thank you Andrew, it appears you know my system better than I do. Which is
kind of embarrassing for a Gentoo user, I'm afraid. It was in fact exactly
what you anticipated, gdk-pixbuf was missing the svg-loader which only
appeared after I installed librsvg. Now the icons work.
