May we alter this to January 3rd? It will give us a couple of extra days,
that I know at least for my part might come in very handy. It's also
probably the last day people have off work/school, so no point in pushing it
past that anyways.

As stated I will try to get the layer dialog into a mergable state. One
thing that I would like to have for the release is brush import/export (at
least import). I'm thinking adding it to the context menu for the brush
groups ("import brushes as group" and "export group to archive" or something
to that effect). Portnov branch has similar functionality but with the brush
management changes it will need to be rewritten a bit.
I don't think I will have time to do it though... So Ilya, Luka, others;
feel free to jump on it.
