Hi, i suppose you were referring to these links. http://forum.intilinux.com/mypaint-general-discussion/textured-brush-support/ http://forum.intilinux.com/mypaint-development-and-suggestions/mimic-an-old-paper-technic-frottages/
These are 2 post from the forum about textured brushes. I would like to have this feature also in mypaint. Nowadays we can have a semitextured look playing with the random size, jitter, opacity random and ratio. but that is not a real solution, is more to create sparkle sffect, not a regular texture. procedural brushes are great, they are usually faster than "bitmap" brushes , but i dont´t know about procedural+procedural texture brushes. :D . maybe for the Mypaint future? who knows. examples of texturing. http://forum.intilinux.com/mypaint-finished-work/cosmonaut-vs-dark-hole-portfolio2010/msg8054/#msg8054 <--look at the armour effect, was done entirely on mypaint.but this is only an aproximation. 2011/3/23 Jon Nordby <[email protected]> > On 23 March 2011 10:14, Tayete <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi! > > Maybe it is explained somewhere, but I don`t seem able to find how to > > include an image in the brushes to make textures or patterns.
