As I mentioned on IRC the other day, I would like it if we had MyPaint
1.0 out before/at LGM, or at least a RC/beta.
LGM starts on 10th of May, so that basically gives us 5.5 weeks or 40 days.

Here is what I think needs or should be fixed before release. Please
add items if you have any.

Blockers (new bugs or regressions):
- bug #17915: Background layer position and size is off when opening
.ora in gimp
- bug #17947: traceback with new gtk.HSV() code
- bug #17914: Flashing square under cursor when opening selector windows

Should-be-fixed:
- bug #17983: [Usability]Document frame interaction should happen on-canvas
- bug #17912: Frame dialog additions
- bug #17750: Saving/Loading aligns image to tile boundaries
- bug #16741: Background image shifted when reactivated
These are basically all related to the frame feature and making it more useful.

Very-nice-to-have:
- bug #15136: implement blending modes

If we follow a release process similar to the last one, and target the
release for LGM we would:
- Have about one week for release candidates
- Have about 10 days for string freeze and beta
This means string changes, and most of the code changes needs to
happen before Sunday 24th, 3 weeks from tomorrow.

Do you guys think we can and should do this in the timespan we have?
