I'd love it if KDE people could try to reproduce https://gna.org/bugs/?20372 - seems to be theme-related, but I can't reproduce it in virtualbox-bound KDE or using the oxygen-gtk theme under Xfce4. One late feature it would be nice to have (but very non-essential): https://gitorious.org/~achadwick/mypaint/achadwick-mypaint/commit/4b04b7e236ceaf123c039909f8a67be4b38aba31 .
