here I'm bit confused... I don't understood how this "pressure gain" works,
I've some questions:

   - This "pressure gain" is it a constant factor or is a curve like that
   as in preferences [pen input graph]?
   - This feature could be put in the Quick Settings Brush instance?

Why don't you want to modify the original preset of the brush designer? It's

Ok, for me is better to have a workflow where the original design of
brushes is preserved, ideally... it helps of portability of brushes of
different designers and between different hardware, for me is a great
target... but if is complex to do, we can make it in a way more simple, per
example, how you describe the concept of "pressure gain" but applied on
single brush and recorded in permanent way. I don't know if is usable a
"way/button to restore" the original design of a brush, this feature can be
causes of mistakes, it destroys my presets in definitive way :(.
