Draft installation and configuration documentation. Scope, plan, test and perform version upgrades, system migrations, and database conversions. Design price lists, product models, custom invoices, and reports. *Typical day to day activities -* Review design documents, design solutions, code, test and deploy code. *How are these skills being applied?* Implementation of Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management. Oracle BRM platform enables the rapid creation, deployment, and real-time billing and is used by many large technology companies to deliver voice, data, video, and content services across wireless, wire-line, cable, and satellite networks *Client Facing -* Yes. Onsite with client. Will also work remote. *What technical environment?* Operating Systems: SOLARIS, MS Windows, Linux Databases: Oracle (8i, 9i, AND 10g), MS SQL BRM/Infranet Versions: 6.2, 6.5, 6.7, 7.0, 7.2, 7.3 Source Control: SVN, CVS Languages: C, SQL, UNIX Shell Scripts, PERL, Taxation Packages: VERTEX, TAXWARE Required Skills *Must have -* Senior Oracle BRM/Portal Infranet Developer (5+ years of Infranet experience) Developer with strong expertise in client needs analysis, installation, migration, integration, and deployment of Oracle BRM *Nice to have... *(skill/years of experience) - Database administration (5 years) *% of overnight travel per month? * 50%-90% (90% not likely) with Expenses covered.
