Sorry, I'm confused on what you have (machines? what is running on what?),
what your ISP has and what you are trying to do.  Do you know about
phpmyadmin program?  Maybe it is what you're looking for.

Most importantly, why did your ISP recommend you use ODBC on a Win2k?  Do
they have some restrictions that stop you from using a linux machine, if
that's what you want?  If my ISP put restrictions like that on me, I'd be
looking for a new ISP?

I think, firstly, decide what you need/want, then find an ISP who is going
to accomodate you and finally, if you still need assistance, ask the list...

Or, have I totally misunderstood you.
