I am running binary version mysql-3.22.32-sun-solaris2.5.1-sparc on Solaris 2.6 box. I do ssh onto the MySql server and issue ../support-files/mysql.server start. Everything is working okay. I can query data bases etc. The problem is I cannot log out of my ssh session unless I do ../support-files/mysql.server stop. If I do not stop the mysql.server, the log out session hangs. I tried ../support-files/mysql.server start & - to put it in the background and same result.
