allright, so i am a beginner with some very basic questions...
I installed and set up mysql, but everything i read, talks about using ms-dos or
something to use it. It looks the interface i have for mysql has all those options, or
no??? Is whatever I will want to do not possible within that interface?
I am confused on how to allow permissions to a file on my remote server. Is
'localhost' only for my local machine? How do I set permissions on a file on a remote
server, or am i missing something? I have read everything i can find, and nothing
seems to make this clear.
These are very basic , I know, but whomever could take the time to explain how to get
this all started, I would GREATLY appreciate it!!! I have scripts waiting to be played
with!
