I just built from a src.rpm and installed 3.23.32 on an RedHat 7.0 box. It installs with no errors and runs, but using the command line utility "mysql" it does not show any of the databases (test, mysql, etc). The databases are in the /var/lib/mysql directory, and I can create new databases, they just don't display in mysql, or phpMyAdmin for that matter.
