We have just installed MySQL V3.23.32 from source on our Compaq Alpha-Server
DS20E (after some problems), however, we get the following message when we
try to run it.
[root@fetch mysql-3.23.32]# bin/safe_mysqld
Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /usr/local/mysql-3.23.32/data
DECthreads init failure, version mismatch:
kernel version 300001, library version 301004 -- application must be
relinked.
010130 14:31:29 mysqld ended
Do we have to relink MySQL? If so, how do we do it?
