I found a problem with MyODBC when linking tables to Access97. It considers DECIMAL type as TEXT (and you know you can't change that without going into code). I changed the column type into FLOAT and it fixed the problem, but at the same time it would be nice if MyODBC either gave you a choice on what data type you want to give linked table column or determine it properly. Anyway. MySQL rocks, and we all know it! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
