Had the same problem. If you have a look at your database, through the
mysql prompt, you will see things like –. This is due to a language
problem with HTML. What language did you design your web page in? or is it
meant for multi-languages? But your's looks like plain English to me. In
any case, it is usually to do with an incorrect character set in the meta
tag of your HTML. You could also try writing some javascript to "filter"
the text before submitting to the server.
