Get the New Riders MySQL book. It is a very good tutorial and reference on
MySQL. You should also look at the online documentation.
The setup and configuration of MySQL is very simple. In addition, my
preliminary test show that it is very fast. I have almost 500,000 records
stored and lookups are faster than I expected.
