Hi... I am new to MySql and I have a couple of questions. First, I am assuming that one needs root priviledge to install the DB Server on Solaris for example. Second, I looked at the manual and searched for any recommendations about the machine requirements for running the DBServer but couldn't find anything useful in this regard.
