Dear MySQL Masters: We have hosted a site on one of our virtual servers. This site is completely written in PHP using MySQL databases (mainly search engines). Now the problem we are facing is, the complete server is too slow because of this site. The mysqld is using much of the memory and CPU. How can I resolve this issue in an efficient manner to reduce the load on the CPU when there are too many queries. If I reduce the max_connections (now the value is 100) will that help? Can you please help me with some suggestions to solve this issue.
