Hi, I just finished installing mysql, but the only way I can start mysql is using "./configure" or "./bin/safe_mysqld". In the documentation it tells me to use "mysql.server start" but this command doesn't work. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I am doing wrong. I am also wondering how I could get mysql running at startup. I have no clue on how to do this at all. I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks, Ngu
