Yes, use the MyODBC driver to connect to MySQL directly from ASP.net .

Directly - use SELECT INTO OUTFILE and set up as a CSV, and open in excel Indirectly - use a programming language and library to write an Excel binary (php or perl with spreadsheetwrite_excel)
