Roger, it is explained my reply to the bugreport, and in my reply to you. The bug is fixed in 4.0.21. According to the manual http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/News-4.0.x.html and to our download site http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/4.0.html the last released version in 4.0.20.
