How come when I am using the terminal on my mac os x 10.3.x and give the command show databases I only see one database (the 'test' database that is included in the install') as compared to viewing databases with my browser and phpmyadmin I can see 6 databases (that same 'test' database, a 'mysql' database that came with the install, and 4 other databases I created myself while in phpmyadmin)? Shouldn't I have access to all of them from the terminal as well?
