I'm using MySQL on Gentoo Linux and today it stopped starting up. It was working a few days ago, and I haven't played with anything in the system - no new installs, config changes, etc. It just decided to go on vacation.
I run mysqld_safe and it quits right away with no error messages. I've got a MySQL book and it doesn't help much. I also tried mysqld_safe --debug, but no trace file is created. Thanks for any help. -- Marc <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
