I'm trying to set up a new Opteron-Based MySQL-Server. The only thing I'm unsure about is which filesystem to choose..
ext3? ReiserFS? XFS? What's your experience?
my impression is that all three have the same performance and reliability.
Opteron + Linux as a platform, on the other hand, still seems to have quite a few unexplained hardware faults or OS bugs.
