Do you use official binaries compiled by MySQL AB? Also see: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/Linux.html Espesially: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/Linux-OS.html Check that you have required versions of libraries and you run official binaries.
