differences are in the archives for this list as well as on the mysql.com
list.
Mysql doesn't compare will to Access. access is simply a collection of database
container files that require smart drivers to read the files, mysql is a
DB mangagment system/server application that manages requests and queries internaly
it compares better to SQLServer but ther eare some differences, search the
archives.
