Hi, After I installed rpm packages on my system, I am unable to connect to the databse. I have installed in the following order 1)Server 2)Client 3)Devel 4)Shared Compat
After starting the databse with: /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql start I am unable to login as: /usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password' The following error occurs: /usr/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed error: 'Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)' Please Help Me.
