Hello, I have a server here that ran MySQL 3.23.x ....
This box recently crashed as a result of a power outage (possible surge, my surge protector may have failed).... The box doesn't boot up, but the HD is ok... all my docs are there.. So, I'm wondering if it's somehow possible to get the MySQL 3 files and recreate them on another box we have here that runs MySQL 4.0. Is this possible? It wouldn't be as simple as getting the files from the dead box and putting them in the new box, would it?
