In the myslq monitor, in my shell, sometimes I mess up and slip a few keys, and mysql is just stuck, waiting on more input, and nothing I tell it, other than a control-C gets me out, at which point I have to login again, which is a time killer. How do you get out of a stuck mysql?
Sometimes, and I can not figrue out what triggers it, but I like it, I get Reading table information for completion of table and column names You can turn off this feature to get a quicker startup with -A auto completion is very nice, how do I make sure it is on all the time? thanks -- ------------------------------------------------------------- Scott Haneda Tel: 415.898.2602 <http://www.newgeo.com> Fax: 313.557.5052 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Novato, CA U.S.A. -- MySQL General Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/mysql To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
