I also think this would be a good idea. I have written some UDF's for specific internal use and often wondered if they would be useful to others. It would be nice if there was a centralized place to search for UDFs, so you don't have to re-invent the wheel everytime you need a function. I think that the community list may be the appropriate list for disscussion on how to get this going. I believe it is run by Arjen Lentz. I have CC'd him on this message. Maybe he can give some input.
