Hi... I need to increase my max_connection variable on mysql DB. Her value now is 100... I must to increase to 500. (Mysql 3.23.49 on Red Hat 8. My server is a IBM Pentium 4, 1.6 Ghz, HD 40G, 1G of RAM)
What do I have to do for balance my DB and my server in this case? Which others elements or variables should be measured, studied? Is there an equation that can I have a base for this decision?
