Running mysql 3.23.22-beta on Redhat 7.0 w/apache and php4, and getting
the following error message:
/usr/libexec/mysqld: Can't create/write to file /var/run/mysql.pid
(Errcode: 13)
Tried to upgrade mysql to no avail, anyway, can connect locally on the
server terminal, but when try to connect over the net, get:
Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Can't connect to local MySQL server
through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)
in lib.inc.php3 on line 255
Error
